Lance always said training for the next race starts the day after the final stage arrival in Paris. In other words, no amount of training is really enough. You can be primed for your European bicycling vacation by participating in one of EuroCycler's pre-departure training and strength conditioning programs. In the process, you learn critical physiological information about yourself so you won't just train, you'll train right!
From training camps we've run in previous seasons, we've learned that riding in Europe can be very challenging for many guests. It starts with jet lag and dehydration from travel, which too many amateur athletes try to ignore as a performance factor. Others are unexpectedly challenged by the mountainous terrain or are not used to more than two days of consecutive riding so early in the season. EuroCycler's offers options to prepare you for rides in Europe so that you get the most from it.
Most important is to be active and prepare physically for your European adventure. EuroCycler is continually building exercise programs with partners in the US, UK and
Europe to offer programs to get you ready for the vacation camp and maximize your experience.
